Handmade Ceramic Black and White Serving Platter

This serving platter was handbuilt, instead of throwing on the wheel. It measures 10" length and 6" wide for serving a wonderful side dish. Glazed in glossy black and white for a modern look. The underside has a crimped pattern for interest and it has slight folds on the top from being slumped over a mold. These are not very deep and food shouldn't get stuck in them.

Each ceramic piece is carefully crafted in my home studio, using the pottery wheel and various hand tools. Firing is done in a community studio and all glazes used are food safe.

Designed for daily use, they are dishwasher safe. However, to maintain their beauty and longevity, I recommend hand washing your pieces. Microwave and oven use is not recommended as the piece can overheat and become too hot to handle.
