Handmade Ceramic Dual glaze Side Plates 6" wide

The plates are thrown on the wheel and trimmed so the bases are concaved and only the outer portion will rest on your table or counter. Each measures roughly 6" diameter and 1/2" rim height. Good for a decorative side plate, piece of toast or a light snack. After bisque firing they are glazed with one side dipped in white and the other side dipped in floating blue. Where the 2 glazes meet, a beautiful denim blue is created. Each one is different. Listing is for one plate only and will be randomly selected.

Each ceramic piece is carefully crafted in my home studio, using the pottery wheel and various hand tools. Firing is done in a community studio and all glazes used are food safe. 

Designed for daily use, they are dishwasher safe. However, to maintain their beauty and longevity, hand washing is recommended. Microwave and oven use is OK too but please use caution as ceramic becomes very hot!

I’ve tried my best to capture the true colours of each piece, but as screens can vary, some differences can happen. Measurements can vary slightly from what’s listed where multiple pieces were made in a production run. I’ve done my best to maintain consistency but these are handmade. Where there are extreme differences, separate listings will be created. If you’d like any clarification on any piece, please ask. I will respond very quickly.
